After waiting for over two years, Outlander is finally out with Season 6 on STRAZ. The show is a historical television series, inspired by the novel of the same name by Diana Gabaldon. Sam Heughan, a star of Outlander, shares some sneak peek from the show.
Outlander develops around Caitríona Balfe as Claire Randall, a World War II nurse of 1945, who found herself transported to the past, 1743. The show is an enormous hit among the viewers and received a lot of positive critical reviews. As Collider claims, “In its fifth season, the time travel period romance has truly found its footing. While the early seasons had a habit of wavering in quality, especially when it came to the pacing and an over-reliance on voice-over, the series has now found a new level of maturity which matches its central characters.”
In an interview with TV Line, Matthew says, “[We] look forward to giving the fans another season of this exhilarating story.”
The creators of the show also confirmed a seventh season of Outlander and also a prequel. Season 6 will be full of the revolutionary war, as we understand by the teaser of the show. Claire and Jamie living will face the new challenges of the British colonies. This new season will bring eight episodes. Because of the pandemic, the creators had to stop the filming and production of the show.
