Sadie Sink talks about her similarities with Max

When I first started playing her, I felt like our outward personalities were very different,” she admits. But the actress overcame her timidness and grew more confident as her onscreen character developed.

I feel like we’ve kind of meshed in, in certain areas. And I think she’s rubbed off on me a little bit, or maybe I’ve been putting more of myself into the role.”

Max had a positive impact on her and she’s grateful for that.

“I love playing Max, it feels like home in a way because we go off and we do other things, film other projects, but then always go back to this character,” she said.

She credits her supportive friends who have stayed with her since middle school and high school and her family. But the actress also understands that it’s a slippery slope. So she limits her time on social media. Moreover, she’s also a part of Julia Garner’s Fanclub!
