Netflix released the official trailer for Virgin River season 3, also reminding the fans of the release date.

Virgin River is a Netflix original feel-good series that tells the story of a nurse practitioner, named Melinda Monroe, who moves away for a new job opportunity. However, she does not find what she was expecting upon settling down.

The series debuted with its first season in 2019, and the second one came almost a year after the second one. Fans have been waiting for the third season for a while now, and it’s coming soon. Sooner than expected, that is, as it’ll be on Netflix in July.

Virgin River announced the release date of season 3 on Instagram with a video including the cast members at the end of May. The actors hold a friendly conversation with fans while announcing the release date. It’s a little unorthodox as it’s usually Netflix who announces the release date, but we wouldn’t mind that, would we?

The story is adapted from the novels of the same name by Robyn Carr.

Virgin River is about a nurse practitioner Melinda Monroe, as mentioned earlier. Melinda finds a job in a remote town in California, despite living in Los Angeles. She decides to move there to work at this new job. However, the small town she moves to does not turn out to be how she expected.

Virgin River season 3 will be on Netflix with its ten episodes on July 9th, just as we expected, given the episode counts of the earlier seasons.

Yes! The third season is not even out yet, but there are reported plans about starting the filming process of season 4. It seems they are going to start filming the new season this summer. This piece of news comes from a credible source, so you can actually expect Netflix to start filming at the end of July. They are planning to finish it by the end of 2021. Therefore, Virgin River season 4 is probably underway for a mid-2022 release.
