The world&#8217;s leading streamer offers some of the best TV series to binge-watch. Thanks to its always-expanding library, almost anyone can find something to watch too. Varying from anime series to Oscar-awarded movies or sketch shows to documentaries, Netflix has managed to become a solid phenomenon worldwide. The streaming giant does not only license amazing content, but it also creates original series and movies in various languages.
One of them is the Spanish Netflix Original series, Valeria. The long-awaited comedy and drama series offers a lovely journey throughout a writer&#8217;s life. And it will also return in <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/list-of-new-releases-on-netflix-in-august-2021/">August</a>. The series is actually based on the bestseller novels from Elisabet Benavent and made its premiere on Netflix back in May 2020. During the early stages of the pandemic, the non-English Netflix Original offered a great story to binge-watch all day long. It follows a writer called Valeria who feels that her life, writing, and marriage are missing something. As the new doors open in her life, she finds herself in desperate dilemmas, a devouring depression, and a strange group of friends.
The show starring Diana Gomez, Paula Malia, Silma Lopez, Teresa Riott, Ibrahim Al Shami and Maxi Iglesias. The first season of the series with a total of 8 episodes is already available to stream on Netflix. If you have not watched the show yet, this might be a great time as the second season is on its way to release next month.
