Created by <strong>Lauren</strong> <strong>Schmidt</strong> <strong>Hissrich</strong>, the series depicts a world of fantasy filled with magic, creatures, and wizards. The plot of the series revolves around the character called <strong>Geralt</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Rivia</strong>, a monster hunter who kills creatures for coins.</p>
<p>The series is based on the bestselling novels of <strong>Andrzej</strong> <strong>Sapkowski</strong>. <p>Unlike other cast members, <strong>Henry</strong> <strong>Cavill</strong> has reached out and stated he wanted to play the protagonist, Geralt of Rivia. Cavill himself is actually a devoted gamer who has also played the games and read the books.</p>

Then she decided to go with Henry Cavill as she felt that his performance was the best.</p>
<h4>3. Cavill did not drink water for three days for the bathtub scene</h4>
<p>The leading actor stayed dehydrated for three days for the iconic bathtub scene. The idea was to create a much more realistic look. So Henry Cavill has reduced the amount of water each day for the filming.</p>
<h4>4. Joey Batey (Jaskier) is an actual musician</h4>
<p>The talented actor who plays Jaskier the Bard is actually a musician and a lute player. He also did his singing during the song sequence.</p>
<h4>5. There will be no cameos in the series</h4>
<p>We all remember <strong>Ed Sheeran</strong> and his part in <strong>Game of</strong> <strong>Thrones.</strong> It was clearly an act of populism and it wasn&#8217;t necessary at all if you ask us. <h4>6. MyAnna Buring who plays Tissaia has also voiced Anna Henrietta, a character in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt</h4>
<p><strong>Tissaia de Vries</strong> is a sorceress who serves in the academy of <strong>Aretuza</strong>. And the character is played by <strong>MyAnna</strong> <strong>Buring</strong> who also served as a voice actor in the expansion pack of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.</p>
<p>The talented actress voiced <strong>Anna Henrietta</strong>, the <strong>Duchess</strong> <strong>of Toussaint</strong> that the players are introduced in the <strong>Blood</strong> <strong>and Wine</strong> downloadable content.</p>
