<p><strong>The Witcher</strong> season 2 is not on the list for <strong>Netflix</strong>&#8216;s June 2021 releases. When&#8217;s the release date going to announce and when will <strong>The Witcher</strong> season 2 takes its place on Netflix?</p>
<p><strong>The Witcher</strong> is the Netflix Original series, based on the same-named novel series from Polish author <strong>Andrzej Sapkowski</strong> brought a lot of attention with its first season released in December 2020. Both people familiar with games/novels and first-timers in <strong>The Witcher</strong> universe enjoyed showing very much. After the successful first season fans started to ask for a new season. After almost 1.5 years after the release of the first season, Netflix stays silent about season 2. Here we&#8217;ve collected our information on <strong>The Witcher</strong> season 2 so far.</p>

<h4>When is The Witcher Season 2 is going to be released?</h4>
<p>Even though Netflix remains silent about an exact date, they&#8217;ve mentioned that The Witcher Season 2 is going to be on Netflix by the end of this year. As the Netflix co-CEO mentioned in his speeches The Witcher Season 2 is going to be on Netflix in Q4 2021. This means the earliest date we can see The Witcher again is September 2021. We also know that the filming and production process has ended in the last months. This filming process was a bit tricky for Netflix, considering the pandemic and Henry Cavill&#8217;s injury. So the most possible date for The Witcher Season 2 looks like either November or December 2021.</p>
<h4>What is The Witcher Season 2 is going to be about?</h4>
<p>Geralt and Ciri&#8217;s adventure is going to continue in The Witcher Season 2. This season is mostly going to focus on the emotional side of this two. We can confirm this by looking into the interviews of <strong>Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. </strong>In her interviews, she mentioned the word &#8220;cost&#8221;. This will be the main dynamic for Geralt and Ciri&#8217;s relationship for this season.</p>
<p>We do expect to see training scenes that Geralt trains Ciri in her way to be a Witcher. We&#8217;re also expecting to see Geralt&#8217;s romantic story with the sorceress Yennefer. Also the famous bard in the Witcher universe, Jaskier is probably going to be seen with Geralt of Rivia in this new season. Also, there&#8217;s a spin-off in the Witcher universe called <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/the-witcher-blood-origin-lead-star-seems-to-be-leaving-the-show/"><strong>The Witcher: Blood Origin</strong></a> which will show us more stories from the universe.</p>
<h4>What is the synopsis of The Witcher?</h4>
<p>For anyone who&#8217;s not familiar with Witcher universe and the synopsis of the show, here is a quick explanation:</p>
<p>The Witcher follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a solitary monster hunter, who struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than monsters and beasts. But when destiny hurtles him toward a powerful sorceress, and a young princess with a special gift, the three must learn to navigate independently the increasingly volatile Continent.</p>
