The TV series, which is one of the favorites of anime series, aired back in 2014. Adapted from Nakaba Suzuki’s manga book of the same name, Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Genkrin will release its season 5soon.

The action, adventure, fantastic and supernatural events series is a blast. In a period when human and non-human beings lived together, the Liones Kingdom was protected by the holy knights. These knights, who were respected by everyone and believed to protect the kingdom properly, were reportedly betrayed by a group of knights among themselves. However, many were murdered by this group called the “Seven Deadly Sins (Nanatsu no Taizai)”. Ten years have passed since this incident, and there are various rumors about the fate of the members of this group. Rumors such as some being dead, some alive and, some caught. Meanwhile, the King fell ill and the Holy Knights began to rule the country cruelly. Elizabeth, the daughter of the king, wants to find the 7 Deadly Sins to reclaim the kingdom and searches for them everywhere.

However, anime fans are as impatient as ever. Many have run out of patience to know when The Seven Deadly Sins will return for another adventure. The good news for anime fans is that the series has officially been approved for season 5! To be honest, this comes as no surprise to anyone. The series remains one of Netflix’s most popular original anime. Season 4 ended on a definite cliff.

We also point out that as of May 2020, in episode 342 the manga is still ongoing. So there are plenty of resources and materials to use. The fifth season of the hit anime was going to air in Japan in October 2020 however, the pandemic hit.

In Japan, season 5 episode 1 aired on January 13 (excluding Netflix). Many fans are expecting season 5 to air in the summer of 2021, as anime series usually aired on Netflix a few months after their national premiere. There are still no official announcements regarding season 5.
