The Neighbor season 2 release date has been announced with a trailer. The superhero-themed comedy will return on May 21st, 2021.

A Netflix Originals show in Spanish, The Neighbor landed on the popular streaming platform a few years ago. Starring Clara Lago, Adrian Pino and also Quim Gutierrez, The Neighbor managed to received a positive feedback from the viewers. Despite getting a good score, it took some time for Netflix to announce the date for a new season.

The unusual journey of being a superhero continues with new episodes. The Neighbor season 2 trailer gives us a glimpse of what to expect in the new season. A Netflix Originals series in Spanish will introduce new threats and also allies for Javier a.k.a The Neighbor. It will also be the final season for the series and there will be no further adventure for our lovely superhero Javier.

“Self-centered Javier’s life gets a bit messy when he unexpectedly becomes a superhero – and his ex is tasked with uncovering his identity.”

The Neighbor is based on a graphic novel created by Santiago Garcia. The comic is called The Greatest American Hero and it tells the story of a man called Javier. Javier is a pretty ordinary man who lives a just as ordinary life with all of its trivial and daily problems. Until a dying superhero yields all of his extraordinary powers to him.

In addition to Jupiter’s Legacy’s release on May 7, The Neighbor season 2 is also right at the door. We can say that it is time for some superhero action on the popular streaming platform. If you are wondering what to watch on Netflix, consider giving a chance to Spanish comedy series.

The show consists of 10 episodes and each episode lasts about half an hour.
