Netflix shared the official trailer for The Gift season 3, which will be on the streaming platform in June 2021.

The Gift is a Netflix Original Turkish psychological drama that tells of the supernatural adventures of Atiye. She lives happily with her family in İstanbul, until something extraordinary happens. An archeologist finds a mysterious symbol in Göbeklitepe, the oldest temple on our planet, which is mystically connected with Atiye. She now tries to search for her own self in the temple. The story is based on a Turkish novel by Şengül Boybaş.

The series first aired on the popular streaming platform in December 2019, and it’s been a success just like many Turkish original works. Netflix quickly renewed it for a second season, which premiered in September 2020. It was not as popular as the first season, however, fans have been waiting for season 3 since the release of the second one. Fortunately, Netflix is going to release The Gift season 3 soon. They released the official trailer of the season, which is coming to Netflix this June.

The Gift Season 3 is going to take place eight years after the previous season. Here’s the Netflix synopsis of The Gift’s third season. “8 years after where we left off,” they say.

“Seeking to reach her daughter Aden, Atiye faces a wrenching dilemma as dark forces attempt to harness Aden’s cosmic powers to bring about destruction.”

In the third season of The Gift, Atiye is going to search for her lost daughter without her special powers. The events are going to revolve around Atiye’s daughter. We also see the importance of the daughter in some dialogues in the official trailer.

The Gift season 3 is going to be the finale for the series. It’s not going to continue. Let’s hope Netflix can give us a satisfying ending for Atiye’s adventures.
