Squid Game is a survival thriller Korean drama that has become a global sensation taking all over the world. The deadly Children’s games, unique premise, and realism of the show are captivating audiences globally.

Squid Game is a Netflix Original series written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk that premiered worldwide on September 17, 2021. Since then, it has been racing through the charts to become the most popular non-English show on Netflix. It maintained the top spot in trending shows on Netflix worldwide for many days.

Synopsis

456 debt-ridden people, living on the edge, get invited to play games to win a whopping prize of 45.6 billion won. They are assembled at an unknown secretive place where they participate in different rounds of children’s games, like Green Light, Red Light. But the twist is, if they fail, they get eliminated from life. Failure means death. The game that begins for money becomes for survival, life, and death.

Squid Game Season 2 Release

A second season seems inevitable, considering the buzz that the show has captured since its release. Although no official announcement has been made yet, we can expect one soon. Moreover, Season 1 ends with a cliff-hanger that hints at a new season.
