After landing one of the most anticipated projects Immaculate, which she has been eyeing since she was a teenager, the actress is now branching out to another project, this time alongside the titan, who is known for his dark and quirky portrayal of characters, Johnny Depp.

Sydney Sweeney and Johnny Depp is a duo that no one saw coming. However, as per the The InSneider reports, both the stars are working on a new supernatural thriller, titled Day Drinker. This movie will reportedly be directed by Marc Webb, who is known for his work in movies like 500 Days of Summer and Amazing Spider-Man. Love, friendship, and revenge form the backdrop of the story, which centers on the connection between a mysterious stranger and a bartender coping with the loss of her lover. 

Detailed plot points are currently undisclosed. However, Dean and Adam Kolbrenner will produce the movie for 30 West, the financing entity. Sydney Sweeney's decision to be a part of a supernatural project does not come as a surprise, as she has a strong inclination towards supernatural horror and thrillers, which she inherits from her family, who are equally obsessed with it. They are so obsessed with the genre that Sweeney even managed to rope them into acting in her movie.

Sydney Sweeney got two of her family members to join her latest movie Immaculate as background extras.

While appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the actress revealed to Jimmy Fallon that she had given both of her grandmothers an extraordinary gift with roles in her horror film Immaculate. Her grandmas had always dreamed of visiting Italy, a country they had never set foot in before. To make this dream a reality, Sweeney surprised them by flying them to Italy and casting them as extras in her movie.

Fallon shared with the audience a still from the film featuring her grandmothers in the roles of little old nuns. Among them, her "iconic" Grandy was caught taking a smoke break. Given the success of Immaculate, and the fact that the movie is still in the Top 10 on Netflix, it is safe to say that Sweeney is going to stick with this genre for quite a while and is ready to blow fans' minds with Johnny Depp.
