Stranger Things star Maya Hawke, who plays Robin in the series, spoke about her opinions on season 4. She also answered a bunch of other questions.

As we get closer and closer to Stranger Things season 4 release date, we get more and more impatient for it. The wait these days is more intense though, as Netflix released a teaser for season 4, which gave us a glimpse of Eleven’s harsh backstory. We occasionally see actors talk about the new season, and they usually give positive remarks. Maya Hawke is not an exception to this. In an interview she was on with Collider, she talked about the new season of Stranger Things and her other projects. Let’s check out what Robin of Stranger Things had to say about season 4.

In this interview, a journalist asked her when the new season was going to finish filming. And “It feels like Stranger Things season 4 has been filming for 17 years. When do you actually finish filming the series?” she said.

Maya Hawke said they were not allowed to talk about it. However, she had some pretty good comments on the new season.

“It feels that way to me, too. I’m not allowed to tell you when we finish filming, but I can tell you that like, though it’s been forever, because we’ve had so much time, the level of effort, interest, and the detail that Duffer Brothers have had time to put into these scripts, and that the actors have had the time to think about their characters, and like it’s going to be awesome.”

“I’m so proud of the work that everyone is doing. And I can’t wait for people to see the season. It’s been a long way but I think it will be worth it.”

The star also talked about Mainstream, Succession, and her personal thoughts about some movies in the interview.

It seems we still have a long way to go before the release of Stranger Things season 4. They are probably going to share two new teasers before the release of the season or the official trailer. We do not expect it to take little time.

Gaten Matarazzo, who plays Dustin, earlier said that there were really few dates to rely on. That means even the crew did not know when they were going to finish filming. However, Maya Hawke’s quotes imply that they have made good progress since Gaten Matarazzo‘s remarks.

The best quote we can rely on right now is from Finn Wolfhard, who portrays Mike. In a fan meeting, he said that Stranger Things season 4 would hopefully release the next year. Well, let’s hope Netflix can surprise us with an early 2022 release date.
