Stranger Things season 4 release dates announced

Logic clearly dictates that a season will have a single release date, but that is not the case with Netflix’s recent style of releasing content. The trend that started with Money Heist is still prevalent with Stranger Things season 4. We will get the fourth season of the Netflix Original in two parts; the first will release on May 27, 2022, and in about a month’s time, the second part will release on July 1, 2022, of course, on Netflix.

After that, the Netflix mystery-drama series will bid adieu once and for all. As the fifth season will be the final one as well.

The director brothers wrote an open letter to the fans of Stranger things

The journey of the series has been an emotional one, and we have connected with the beautiful characters very much. Thus, it comes as no surprise as the directors also feels and honor the bond. Along with the announcement of the fourth season, the Duffer Brothers wrote an open letter to the fans of the show. Here is what it read:

“Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but – as you’ll soon see for yourselves – we are now hurtling towards our finale.”

They added: “There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things. But first, we hope that you stay with us as we finish this tale of a powerful girl named Eleven and her brave friends, of a broken police chief and a ferocious mum, of a small town called Hawkins and an alternate dimension known only as the Upside Down.“
