The prank show hosted by Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo, “Prank Encounters” is going to be back on Netflix with its second season on April 1st.

ICYMI: Prank Encounters is back. The prank show is most prominently known for its host, Gaten Matarazzo from Stranger Things will come to Netflix with its new episodes in Season 2. In Prank Encounters, Matarazzo stars himself as the host of the show, which also includes many actors and actresses playing huge parts in Gaten’s scary pranks, which end with him storming into the room and telling everyone that everything was a joke.  

The trailer pretty much sums up what the show is about, showing some footage from the pranks, with Gaten watching his victims mercilessly, laughing his ass off. At the climax of pranks, Matarazzo unexpectedly enters the rooms, surprising his victims and revealing that they were pranked. He also does it quite well with creative entries every time, surprising the victims both for Gaten’s popularity and his entry style, and the whole thing being a prank also goes without saying.

The show will be on Netflix with its second season containing seven new episodes. The second season of Prank Encounters is going to be released on April 1st, 2021 which makes us wonder whether that date was chosen intentionally, given the production’s jokey nature and the release date’s being April Fools’ day.

Prank Encounters is a big production, starring a very popular actor. But its content was not so appreciated by the critics and fans, given its 5.1 IMDb rating. Some people also think that the pranks in this show are not real and everyone already knows what is happening, but it’s another topic to discuss. Nevertheless, there are also many people who genuinely love the show and wait for the release of its new episodes.
