Stranger Things has kept its fans waiting for a new season for almost two years now. That’s the longest interval between seasons, when we also take into account the time that’s going to pass after now. As things are like this, the fans are longing for some news and comments from the stars. Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard came along to help today and mentioned when season 4 is likely to release. Despite not giving us an exact release date, he shut down the possibility of the next season releasing in 2021.

Although we still have a long way to go until the release of Stranger Things season 4, we now at least know a reliable period. The star mentioned it on a fan call on Fanmio, according to @SThingSpoilers. Fanmio is a service that allows fans to communicate with stars, and many different actors from Stranger Things uses it as well. “Season 4 – it should be out sometime next year, hopefully,” he said. So, we now know that 2022 is the most reliable time range. Although another Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo earlier revealed in an interview that the fourth season was not likely to release in 2021, it is more apparent now.
What else do we know about Stranger Things season 4?
Though it has kept us waiting for too long, the next season seems like it’s going to be a great one. That’s because Gaten Matarazzo said that it’s going to be a “thrilling ride.” There were also other stars commenting on the new season. One of them was Finn Wolfhard again, who thinks that season 4 is the darkest one. We’ll wait and see.
