The Umbrella Academy season 3 is going to be for ages. As soon as season two ended, people were desperately asking for more, and Netflix was making them wait. But finally, for the past few weeks, we have been having huge updates regarding the newest season of the show.

But the update we have today is somewhat raising more questions than it is answering. Let us see what the new reveal is.

The Umbrella Academy season 3 new character revealed

Following up on last week’s The Umbrella Academy season 3 character poster, which featured Elliot Page as  Viktor Hargreeves, Netflix has released a new banner featuring Jayme Hargreeves, a Sparrow Academy member.

Cazzie David plays Jayme. Cazzie is the daughter of Larry David, the creator/star of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm.

Jayme is a lone wolf hiding behind a hoodie. She doesn’t have to say much since she isn’t required to. Jayme’s sneer is terrifying. If you catch sight of it, you’ll dash across the street to avoid what’s coming next. She spends much of her time with Alphonso, her sole buddy, and is as sharp as a razor.

Although Jayme’s Umbrella counterpart has been “removed from the timeline,” if her number is 6, it’s safe to assume that the late Ben Hargreeves is her alternate reality counterpart.

What do we know about the newest season?

The team successfully saved the world (again) from Armageddon in The Umbrella Academy‘s season 2 finale. But, when they returned to their own timeline, they found themselves in another universe with the Sparrows, apparently commanded by the very much alive Ben Hargreeves.

Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, Ritu Arya, and Colm Feore have all been confirmed to return for season 3 of The Umbrella Academy. Steve Blackman, who previously served as showrunner, has returned.

The Umbrella Academy season 3 will start streaming only on Netflix from June 22nd.
