Sony Pictures movies on the way to Netflix in 2022 and future
As many of you know that Netflix and Sony Pictures Entertainment recently announced a multi-year, exclusive first pay window licensing deal for theatrically released Sony‘s feature films, beginning with their 2022 film slate. The two big companies just announced a new 5-years-deal that gives Netflix exclusive rights to Sony Pictures’ upcoming theatrical releases of 2022. As Sony will be taking about $1 billion from the deal, the streaming giant will have exclusive streaming rights to all Sony’s upcoming movies including the next installment of the Spider-Man franchise, Morbius, Uncharted, Bullet Train, and the sequel to the Oscar-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. There will also much more covered installments from major Sony franchises like Jumanji and Bad Boys in the future, as well. The sequel to 2019’s Escape Room psychological horror film is directed by Adam Robitel and written by Bragi F. Schut and Maria Melnik. The upcoming film stars Taylor Russell, Logan Miller, Isabelle Fuhrman, Thomas Cocquerel, Holland Roden, Carlito Olivero, and Indya Moore.
After the six strangers found themselves in a maze of deadly mystery rooms and tried to survive throughout the deadly games for their way out, the puzzle master will pull Zoey and Ben into a much deadlier game.

Uncharted is an action-adventure film directed by Ruben Fleischer and written by Art Marcum and Matt Holloway. The film is also an adaptation of the video games of the same name created by Amy Hennig and is starring Tom Holland as Nathan Drake, and Mark Wahlberg as his mentor Victor Sullivan, along with Antonio Banderas, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Tati Gabrielle in supporting roles. The upcoming film will follow Nathan Drake in his youth as he comes to meet and befriend Sully.

The upcoming science fantasy action film is Sony Pictures’ live-action remake of Masters of the Universe. It will star Noah Centineo playing the most powerful man in the universe He-Man as he goes against the evil Skeletor to save the planet Eternia and protect the secrets of Castle Grayskull.
Bullet Train
The upcoming action thriller film is directed by David Leitch, based on the novel Maria Beetle by Kōtarō Isaka. But what is the most important thing about this movie is its exciting cast list. The film will star Brad Pitt along with Joey King, Andrew Koji, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lady Gaga, and Sandra Bullock. The film will be following five assassins who find themselves on a Japanese bullet train, realizing that their individual assignments are not unrelated to the others.
Jumanji 4
It is the fourth action-adventure comedy film of the Jumanji franchise, which is also still in the early stages of development. So, there is still lots of time for it to release. On the other side, there is also no confirmation about its cast list as well. But we expect to hear from it soon enough, too.
