Simone Ashley, the actress who stunned the audience with her sizzling chemistry with Jonathan Bailey in Bridgerton season 2, dropped a big reveal about the forthcoming season. The actress played Kate Sharma in Bridgerton season 2. And while her performance and chemistry with her co-star were lauded, fans were left wanting more from their narrative. To put it simply, they weren&#8217;t happy with the toned-down racy scenes. The first season had plenty of skin show, and the second took more of a slow burn romance approach. Well, unfortunately, they need to find something else because they next won&#8217;t diverge too much from the path the second season took. 
<h2>Simone Ashley revealed that Bridgerton season 3 has even fewer raunchy scenes</h2>
Kate and Jonathan only had two proper sex scenes in the entire series. Moreover, these scenes didn&#8217;t happen until the very end. Simone Ashley revealed that season 3 will focus more on Colin and Penelope&#8217;s <a href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-10824103/Simone-Ashley-reveals-Bridgerton-series-three-sex-it.html">romance</a> and less on sex.

Earlier Nicola Coughlan (Penelope Featherington) had <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/Cdm0BEVL91Z/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;ig_rid=4881f822-52ba-4363-861c-9491d9d8da55">revealed</a> that a season 3 was coming through her Instagram post. Filming will start in the summer. Jess Bronwell is replacing Chris Van Dusen for the third season. Up till now, the Shonda Rhimes production had followed the book order. But now it decided to diverge and break the book order, skipping Benedict. We left off with Penelope overhearing Coli telling his friends ashamed that he would never marry her. The forthcoming season is likely to pick up from there and show us their love blossoms.

Jonathan and Kate progressed from fighting each other to can&#8217;t keep their hands to each other. They got married at the finale and are expected to <a href="https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-features/bridgerton-finale-seasons-3-and-4-romances-1235125819/">return</a> in season 3. Kate will assume the role of a viscountess but their romance will have a rocky road ahead. Just like Daphne, they will appear in the following seasons.  
Back in April 2021, <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/bridgerton/">Bridgerton</a> was renewed for seasons 3 and 4. So don&#8217;t worry, we will see a lot more of Kate and Jonathan!
