What is the release date for Sex/Life season 2? When will the new episodes of comedy-drama land on the platform?

Netflix has released lots of new original titles throughout June 2021. The streaming giant continues to expand its huge library full of different series and movies. Almost anyone can find something they like. This diversity also includes great comedy-drama series that are full of dilemmas, intrigue and relationship problems.

One of the most recent TV series that offers all those drama-filled narratives is Sex/Life that landed on the platform on June 25. The Netflix Original series follows a married woman with children and her difficult decisions between her past and present. Starring Sarah Shahi, Mike Vogel, Adam Demos and many others, Sex/Life is based on B. B. Easton‘s bestselling book 44 Chapters About 4 Men.

The production of the first season started back in 2020. Although pandemic-related restrictions caused delays, the cast and the crew managed to wrap the first episodes of the season.

Now that the pandemic has started to lose its effects on filming, the production of the second season will probably take a shorter amount of time. That is of course, provided that Netflix decides to continue with the series. Most of the time shows like Sex/Life manages to get a new season as we love shows like this which maximize drama and intrigue.

As of June 2021, Netflix has not made any official comments regarding the Sex/Life season 2 release date. Considering that the show has just landed on our favourite streaming service, we might have to wait for a while to hear about the show’s status.

With that said, if Netflix renews the series the production might start in early 2022. And the earlier date for the second season to premiere is probably the last quarter of 2022.
