Sex/Life season 1 release date, synopsis, cast and trailer

Sex/Life is among the upcoming Netflix projects this month. The TV series will
land on the streaming platform in June 2021.

It is another day and yet another official trailer for a new TV series lands on
the YouTube channel Netflix. The world’s leading streaming service continues to
extend its library with new shows, TV series, movies, and documentaries. Among
them, there will be a new one called Sex/Life with its first season.

The upcoming TV series will follow a married woman who also has kids to get back
to her ‘faster’ times. The series feels like a sexy and hotter version of a
mid-life crisis. So it is probably going to be great for those who like to
binge-watch.

Here’s everything we know including the Sex/Life series cast, story, and the
official trailer.

WHEN IS THE RELEASE DATE OF SEX/LIFE?

Summer has come for the popular streaming platform. This means that we get to
watch a truckload of brand new TV series and also new titles like Sex/Life. But
what is the release date for the series?

Netflix has announced that the new project will arrive on June 25th, 2021
[https://netflixjunkie.com/netflix-first-look-and-release-dates-in-july-2021/].
So we will watch the first season of the series in the last week of this month.

WHAT IS SEX/LIFE ABOUT?

The series is about a married woman with kids and a lovely husband. As she
starts to question her perfect life, she finds herself pursuing fragments of her
past which are filled with sex, joy, and adrenaline. Instead of her current
domestic lifestyle, she starts fantasizing about her desires including an
ex-boyfriend, partying all night, and casual sex.

Sex/Life does include drama, cheating, intrigue, and many more. So it is
probably going to be big. Though we mentioned what it is about. You can also
have a look at the official synopsis:

“A woman’s daring sexual past collides with her married-with-kids present when
the bad-boy ex she can’t stop fantasizing about crashes back into her life.”

SEX/LIFE SERIES CAST MEMBERS

The cast of the upcoming show includes many talented actors and actresses. Here
are the main cast members:

 * Sarah Shahi as Billie Connelly
 * Mike Vogel as Cooper Connelly
 * Margaret Odette as Sasha snow
 * Adam Demos as Brad Simon
 * Phoenix Reich as Hudson
 * Jonathan Sadowski as Devon
 * Ji Jun Li as Francesca

The directors of the series are Jessica Borsiczky, Patricia Rozema and Sheree
Folkson. The famous directors have also served in other titles like 12 Monkeys,
House of Lies, Into the Forest and many more.

IS NETFLIX RELEASE SEX/LIFE SEASON 2?

The show has not aired on the platform yet. Though the streaming platform might
have ordered two seasons at once like it used to. Although this is a
possibility, Netflix tends to calculate the viewership counts before renewing a
series. So we will probably wait and see the performance of the first season. If
it manages to receive positive reception, we might see the second season faster
than we thought.
