Ruth Langmore’s epic vengeance spree, according to Netflix, is arriving sooner than you think. In the twisting crime-thriller Ozark, we always suspected Ruth would be the one to blow up the Byrdes’ money-laundering business. However, the first episode of Ozark’s fourth season established Ruth has had enough and is not going back. It wasn’t long ago in 2017, that we first met these characters, and now it’s time to say our goodbyes. Fans are now curious about Ozark Season 4 Part 2.
The second half of Ozark‘s seven-episode fourth and final season will air on Netflix on April 29. The second part will pick up right where the first one left off. The Season 4 finale teased a flash-forward car wreck involving the Byrde family, the final episodes will solve that mystery.
Ozark season 4, part 2 release date
The second half of Season 4 will premiere on April 29, 2022. The quick-release date will not surprise fans who remember Jason Bateman (Marty Byrde) revealing during a January interview with Jimmy Kimmel that the date had not yet been “yet announced, but it’ll be kinda soon, I think.”
Netflix released an eerie teaser
The teaser showed the premiere date of Ozark, which Netflix released on Wednesday, with an official poster. In the teaser, we can hear Ruth narrating her tragic past and referring to herself as a “cursed Langmore.”
Ruth is also seen drawing a gun and preparing to shoot Marty. “The End Arrives Sooner than You Think” is written near the end of this very brief clip, with foreboding music playing in the background. We can sense a menacing mood in the official poster. It will presumably follow Marty and Wendy as they climb to the top of Navarro’s empire and find another way out of the Ozarks.
This part will have seven episodes, just like the first. Showrunner and writer Chris Mundy, Jason Bateman, Mark Williams, and Laura Linney, who is also a co-executive producer, are executive producers on this season of Ozark. The series stars Julia Garner, Sofia Hublitz, amongst others.
