Ragnarok season 2 will be available on Netflix next week. The season 2 trailer for the popular Netflix Originals series hit the YouTube channel of the streaming giant. One of the highest-grossing Norwegian series on Netflix’s library, Ragnarok season 2 is preparing to premiere on May 27.

Ragnarok follows a young man and ordinary man named Magne who lives in Edda. Edda is a humble Norwegian town threatened by environmental pollution.

Magne seems like a pretty normal teenager first, but he discovers that he is actually a reincarnation of Thor, the God of Thunder. As he tries to understand what is going on around his small village, he also finds himself in the center of a mystical and ancient threat.

Throughout the first season, Magne has prepared himself for the battle between the Gods and the Giants. He has gathered allies and tried to deal with his powerful brother Laurits as well. Now, he is ready to take up the fight against Fjör and his family. They are the ancient enemies who are threatening not only Edda but the whole world.

He must choose wisely and find people like him with extraordinary powers. The reincarnation of Thor is also tasked with dealing with his brother Laurits; who is quite powerful and different from Magne.

The new episodes will be available on May 27.

The creator and the writers of the show are Emilie Lebech Kaae and Adam Price. Price also created a successful series named Borgen which got a BAFTA award. The screenwriter served as a writer for Taxa, Ride Upon the Storm, and much more.

Emilie Lebech Kaae served as the head of development in the Gidseltagningen TV series. During the same time, she also worked in the same position for another series called Friheden. The producer has lots of experience in the field and continues to create new shows and series as a producer.
