<p><strong>Netflix</strong> picked up the popular crime series <strong>Ozark</strong> back in June 2021 for the fourth season, which is going to be the finale. The pandemic the world is going through has affected the production process negatively though, slowing it down and making the fans wait for the release of <strong>Ozark</strong> <a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/will-ozark-season-4-be-on-netflix-in-2021/">season 4</a> for more. <strong>Jason Bateman</strong>, who plays <strong>Marty</strong> <strong>Byrde</strong>, has recently talked about this issue, stating that we could get the release of Ozark season 4 sooner, depending on the vaccine schedule. He also added some political views, implying that the new administration in the USA is likely to make things better release-wise.</p>
<h4>Jason Bateman on the release of Ozark season 4</h4>
<p>In a roundtable about the season 3 finale that the <strong>Ozark</strong> crew was in, the series star talked about the possibility to get the release sooner thanks to Joe Biden.</p>
<p>&#8220;As far as when it&#8217;s gonna come out, it&#8217;s really going to be reliant on, you know, if we can stay in production,&#8221; <strong>Bateman</strong> told <a class="body-link" href="https://deadline.com/video/ozark-cast-interview-season-3-finale-all-in-deadline-virtual-screening-series/" target="_blank" rel="noopener" data-vars-ga-outbound-link="https://deadline.com/video/ozark-cast-interview-season-3-finale-all-in-deadline-virtual-screening-series/">Deadline</a> as per <a href="https://www.digitalspy.com/tv/ustv/a35928705/ozark-jason-bateman-season-4-update/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Digitalspy</a>. &#8220;There&#8217;s sort of this race, the whole world is in between vaccinations and these variants.</p>
<p>He then added that he thought it would be much sooner under Biden&#8217;s administration. He said that he thought we were going to get it sooner thanks to Uncle Joe (Biden).</p>
<p>&#8220;I mean, basically, it&#8217;s going to get to us a whole lot quicker now that Joe Biden&#8217;s got his hand on the wheel. It would have taken longer with the last administration, so I think we&#8217;re gonna get it to TV sooner thanks to Uncle Joe.&#8221;</p>
<h4>What is the release date for Ozark season 4?</h4>
<p>Though an exact release date is yet to be announced, we assume that the next season will be in our hands around early 2022. Bateman earlier revealed that they try to keep things as safe as possible while filming, so this might slow down the process.</p>
