Fool’s Gold and How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days are the movies that these two have worked together in. When they were working on Fool’s Gold, Hudson was going through a divorce. During that difficult period, her co-actor helped her and cheered her up.

The Bride Wars actress was married to Chris Robinson from 2000 to 2007. When the Academy Award-nominee was filming Fool’s Gold with Matthew McConaughey, she got a call about the divorce getting finalized. During her recent BAFTA interview, she revisited the days when The Lincoln Lawyer star cheered her up. They were on the boat when she got the news, making her sad.

Well, she revealed how shirtless Matthew helped her to get into a good mood. She said she was sitting there feeling sad and, “Out of the top of the boat popped Matthew — shirtless — and he was like, ‘You ready, Hudson?’” Well, the Something Borrowed actress revealed the Interstellar actor was a big part of her in the film.

And talking about working with him again, she said she knew her ways. She also knew how he went into the stuff. Therefore, it was easy and fun for her to work with McConaughey again. She said she knew how crazy it could get and loved this process. Although the Glass Onion actress had a divorce then, she is now happily engaged to Danny Fujikawa.
