The Academy Awards this year is really making some space for the most hilarious revelations and Guillermo Rodriguez is leading the top. As the starlit galaxy of the Oscar ceremony was busy raising their toasts to the Oscar nominees, Rodriguez took the helm of the laughter seat with a cracking unleash as he toasted with a special mention to his allegedly just-found wife, “Miss Charlize Theron”, leaving fans rolling in laughter like never before.

As most might know, this irony came hitting point blank when Theron herself had the most startling reaction upon learning she was Rodriguez’s wife. The hilarity confluence with Theron’s reaction was all the flexing of funny bones the event required for today. Although the ceremony cheers made their way and everyone enjoyed the laughter pill that was clearly not on anyone’s bingo card, for fans online, it became the most celebrated moment of Oscar tonight. 

Even though the Oscar ceremony had its high points of crackers beginning with Jimmy Kimmel’s casual call-out for Oscar voters, John Cena’s flying envelope, and Messi the dog’s clapping hands, Rodriguez’s random toast was still the winner. Credibly so since the entire Dolby Theatre erupted, leaving no man behind.

As for fans, clearly, this was the most Oscar-worthy moment of the evening. Hence, they were ready to fight any other poll challenging the same.

One of the best parts of any award ceremony is the flooding quips that keep fans on their toes. For the most part, the credit goes to the host of the event, but this time, at the Oscars, Jimmy Kimmel may have fallen short with his doses of humor delivery in front of Rodriguez. As a result, fans were more than geared up to give the Funniest Man of the Ceremony award to Rodriguez. 

Most fans could not help but reiterate his lines from the ceremony and, resultantly, they wanted this man safe “at all costs”. Some others, on the other hand, could hardly get over Theron’s reaction to it.

For most fans, what truly eclipsed that moment was his kind mention of all the nominees and his open heart, along with the open bar for all the attendees. Although a big weekend like the Oscars can never do without a little fun, Rodriguez did not only bring the fun but even the medicine to it. Hence, for all the good reasons, if anyone takes the man of the evening designation for the Oscars this year, it is none other than Guillermo Rodriguez.
