However, she suffered a wardrobe malfunction as one of the zippers of her gown went bust, which she even pointed out while accepting her Best Actress Oscars on stage. Now, a report by People had the actress reveal that her team “sewed me back in” soon after and that “I generally do think I busted it during, ‘I’m Just Ken’.”

Stone went on as to how the energetic performance had her “going for it”. The custom fit meant that the actress had to stay shut inside the dress, which also restricted her movements. However, the highly spirited one could hardly shy away from swaying along the beats of Gosling’s performance, and at that moment, the dress gave way. While accepting her award, she even gestured to presenter Jessica Lange for help before realizing the zipper had caved out.

In the meantime, Gosling’s performance made its way as one of the most entertaining ever, especially for its sheer stature.

Dressed in a hot pink suit with rhinestones, pink socks, pink leather gloves, and dark sunglasses, Ryan Gosling sat behind Margot Robbie as the spotlight moved on him. Repeating his celebrated performance of ‘I’m Just Ken’, the actor and the song’s singer took to the stage along with backup dancers and 65 other ‘Kens’ including Simu Liu, Scott Evans, Ncuti Gatwa, and Kingsley Ben-Adir.

In a pink spectacle, Gosling also went back to the audience to hand the microphone to audience members such as those from Barbie like Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie, and America Ferrera. Finally, to mark the end of the performance, he also kissed the ‘E’ engraved necklace on him to shout out to his wife, Eva Mendes, marking a brilliant conclusion to the night.
