Netflix shared the official trailer with the release date for its new Polish mystery-thriller series Open Your Eyes. The trailer is quite intriguing.

As you all know, Netflix likes to give fans more content in various languages. That’s why the number of Netflix Originals across all of the Netflix regions is increasing day by day. Fans absolutely love the Spanish, Turkish, or French series as much as they love English content.

This one right here is another foreign production that looks pretty enticing. Open Your Eyes, which is a Polish series, tells of a young amnesiac girl who starts to question the integrity of her clinic. Previously, Netflix shared the teaser of this series. As we are pretty close to its launch now, we have the official trailer in our hands. Here’s everything you need to know about the series to decide whether to pass it or watch it.

The series takes place in the “best” amnesiac facility in the country. The facility handles some of the most severe cases of amnesia. However, our main character wants to know more about the reality behind this facility. The patients are just seen as “blank pages” that can be treated however the facility wants, after all. “After a tragic accident, an amnesiac teen tries to rebuild her life at a memory disorders center but becomes suspicious of her unconventional treatment,” says Netflix about this thriller.

Here’s the synopsis of Open Your Eyes.

“Julka ends up in an amnesia treatment center after she loses her family. When she begins to have strange dreams that will become too real for her, she wonders if the place where she is is the one she thought it was so far.”

Anna Jadowska and Adrian Panek are the co-directors of this series. Both of them have ample experience working on other Polish documentaries and series. Anna Jadowska previously teamed up with an actor of Open Your Eyes in another Polish Netflix series: Erotica 2022.

The series has a big writing team behind it. The team previously worked with each other in other series. Kasper Bajon, Igor Brejdygant, Milena Dutkowska, Klara Kochanska, and Katarzyna Berenika Miszczuk pen the script for Open Your Eyes.
