This is not the first one-shot by Boichi

This is really exciting news for fans as they will see a reimagined vision of a really iconic moment from the manga. However, this is not the first time Boichi has taken up the job to illustrate a one-shot from the manga series.

Boichi shared his version of Chapter 51 of the series, “Zoro Overboard,” in the preceding one-shot in the “Comic Cover Project.” This was the legendary battle between Zoro and Hawkeye during the events of the Baratie arc, and it was a fan favorite.

Now, Boichi has revealed their fresh take on one of the series’ most famous arcs. It’ll be a complete transformation if it’s anything like the prior attempt.

All that’s left now is to hope for an official foreign publication of this new issue, which will be released in Japan next month.

It is an amazing time to be a One Piece fan with many projects like a live-action adaptation by Netflix. A new video game and a film hitting theaters soon.
