As the beloved streaming platform tries to keep every type of viewer entertained, there are too many new and also old shows are being added to its library as well. So here are the anime series and movies coming to Netflix in April 2021.
No one can’t deny that animes are one of the most anticipated genres, which takes us into whole different worlds during watching and gives us thrill in so many ways. And gladly, Netflix doesn’t seem to stop producing well-crafted stories along with already known and beloved stories into anime adaptations any time soon for us as well. So, as we get exciting news of upcoming projects of Netflix day by day, here are the anime series and movies ahead of us coming this April.

Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure is a Japanese anime series based on the manga of the same name created by Hirohiko Araki. The franchise has released 156 volumes since the late 1980s and there are even more on its way in the near future. And now, its third season is coming to Netflix, finally.
The Joestar family is possessed with intense psychic strength and has been using their powers to confront evil supernatural villains. The story of this anime follows each member of the family as they encounter adventures throughout their lives.

“The fate of The World hangs in the balance as Jotaro, Joseph, and crew stand against DIO and his bizarre army in Egypt!

This Netflix original anime series introduces you to Japan’s most evil yakuza who makes its cutest househusband! The story follows Tatsu’s journey from underworld legend to domestic bliss. The anime adaptation belongs to Kousuke Oono’s hit comedy manga The Way of the Househusband. The live-action drama anime was adapted into a live-action anime drama in 2020 by Nippon TV and produced by J.C.Staff.
Here’s the synopsis:
“Tatsu, an infamous and feared yakuza boss nicknamed “the Immortal Dragon”, retires from crime to become a househusband so that he can support Miku, his kyariaūman wife. The episodic series depicts a variety of comedic scenarios, typically wherein Tatsu’s banal domestic work as a househusband is juxtaposed against his intimidating personality and appearance, and his frequent run-ins with former yakuza associates and rivals.”

New Gods: Nezha Reborn is a 2021 Chinese fantasy action anime film directed by Zhao Ji and written by Mu Chuan, and based on the character of Nezha from the Ming dynasty novel named Investiture of the Gods. The story of the anime movie follows a steampunk and cyberpunk while Nezha is reincarnated as Li Yunxiang in the fictional city of Donghai. And now, he must settle a 3,000-year-old grudge with the Dragon Clan.
Here’s the synopsis:
“3000 years after the boy-god Nezha conquers the Dragon King then disappears in mythological times, he returns as an ordinary man to find his own path to becoming a true hero.”

Creator LeSean Thomas and Japanese animation studio MAPPA have been working together to bring the story of an African man, who climbed the ranks and became one of the greatest real historical figures from feudal Japan. And Netflix finally invites you to witness the story of the first African samurai and his journey.

“There is a serendipitous nature about this project, how an African-American man goes to Japan to live and work amongst the very best in Japanese anime to create an anime about an African who goes to Japan to live amongst the Japanese elite and become a warrior. Part of me deep down feels I was meant to create this adventure series with MAPPA, Flying Lotus, LaKeith & the rest of this talented team.
