Some experiences are reserved only for a few on this planet. There is only a certain faction of people, stricken with loneliness and isolation, that one can never call for. The products of immigrant families often find themselves stranded with the ability, as well as the desperation, to find home. It sets one to wonderment when faced with the source of legendary scriptwriters' Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, drive in all these years of being part of the animation industry of the West when coming to terms with their immigrant origins. 

With years of powering through every sense of isolation, the Parlapanides brothers did walk into the epiphany, one fine day, that they did not have to find, but could very much make home right where they stood.

In an interview that vouches for some of the most inspiring stories of Los Angeles, the melting pot of Hollywood; Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, the creators of Blood Of Zeus are well known have made apparent their origins, throughout their scriptwriting career. From their very first, Immortals (2011) to their most recent retelling of the story of Heron, a "quintessential outsider" amidst Zeus' off-springs, "we drew from our own experiences growing up, amplifying and dramatizing them", Charley Parplanides tells VoyageLA.

The two brothers of Greek descent express their gratitude towards their mother for instilling in them the faith and values of the old-as-time country, having them preserve their mother tongue despite the hardships of making oneself un-jarring enough to fit into an entirely new culture. The brothers in turn made themselves home with what they could offer the multicultural country of America through nothing but their writing. And of course, a 'meze' of stories to tell.

The Blood of Zeus stands as a landmark in their career, with solid accolades and an unmovable position on streaming platforms. And probably not their last. 

With the news of season 3 steadily being foamed to the tip of the brim, Blood of Zeus is set to return in 2025, as confirmed in July of 2024. With its stellar taste of animations, focused on depicting the unbridled beauty of Greek mythology and its forth-carriers, the series is set to make a banger final comeback this year.
