“What is grief if not love persevering?” as Vision says in WandaVision seems to capture the inner difficulty of dealing with a lost love the best. There is no right or wrong way to deal with grief, and it certainly does not come with instructions. Everyone deals with grief in their own way, and in a new film, The In Between by Netflix, Joey King is ready to cross the hereafter just to be reunited with her love.

The In Between by Netflix-what’s the film about?

The film follows Tessa (Joey King) and Skylar (Kyle Allen), who meet while viewing the 1986 arthouse classic Betty Blue at a small theatre. They hit it off right away. However, it takes a bit for them to run into each other again after viewing the movie. When they finally get together, the bonding process begins, and before long, they are head over heels in love.

But tragedy strikes when Skylar is murdered by a vehicle before they can reconnect and build their connection. This should be the end of their love, but as Skylar begins to communicate with Tessa through his ghostly presence, the two are able to rekindle their romance.
