Most of us have an idea who Rome Flynn is. With his roles in TV and films, Flynn has made a name for himself. His latest project, Raising Dion season 2, has given him a bit more popularity. His role as a cool parent is successful because everyone wants to be like him these days.

Since the first season of Raising Dion on Netflix, our little superhero Dion has already defeated the Crooked Man. In the new season, he is living with his mother and trying to nurture his power with the support of his mom. But peace doesn’t stay for a long time. Dion realizes the danger is still looming on them, and he has to save the entire city of Atlanta.

Rome Flynn’s character Tevin is a father figure to Dion, who lets Dion be himself. Rome Flynn was very excited to be a part of the show as he admitted during a The List interview. “What drew me to the show is everything the show represents, the representation on the show, the actors on the show, working with Alisha and Ja’Siah and any other characters there, because I was a fan of the show initially, anyway,” he said.

Rome Flynn’s character is a positive influence on young Dion

Tevin, played by Rome Flynn, has arrived at the beginning of the second season of Raising Dion. His arrival has a positive affect on Dion and Nicole’s life. Flynn explains that in the beginning, he helps both the kids to nurture and control their powers. But as time passes on, he becomes a father figure for them who helps them through everyday teenage and school kinds of stuff.

He thoroughly develops a close relationship with Nicole, Dion’s mother. He says, “As we see that slowly make its way through the season, I think at the end, it all ties in and feels very rewarding as a viewer to see, yes, finally, we see these two characters maybe get closer. From that point, you see maybe more potential.”

Flynn is excited to be a part of this project. He expresses that in his acting journey he has explored many characters, but he has never done something that is cool for his daughter or nephew. He explains, “They never watch me in anything, so they can watch me in this and, suddenly, I’m cool again. That’s all this is about. I’m just trying to be cool with all the little kids in my life. I don’t want awards. I just want to be cool and for them to think I’m cool.”

Rome Flynn has impressive TV credits which include The Haves and the Have Nots, How to Get Away with Murder, Dear White People, With Love, and The Bold and the Beautiful. Many of you will recognize him from the music video Have Mercy by Chloe. He even won a Daytime Emmy for outstanding younger actor in a drama series for the role of Zende Forrester Dominguez on The Bold and the Beautiful.
