Don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars and but still want all the fun on this Valentine’s Day? Don’t worry, Netflix has got you covered with a stand-up special, Ali Wong: Don Wong from comedy queen, Ali Wong.
Wong is returning to the streaming platform in her code dress—a leopard print red dress with big specs. Netflix has released the trailer of the show recently on YouTube, captioned as, “Comedian, writer and actress Ali Wong returns to Netflix for her third original comedy special, Don Wong”. The trailer mostly contains behind-the-show scenes and how she prepped herself before any performance.
Ali Wong has two prior Netflix specials, Baby Cobra and Hard Knock Wife. This time Wong will enchant the audience at The Count Basie Theater in New Jersey. They filmed this special way back in November 2021, when she was serving as an executive producer on her film, Always Be My Maybe.
Wong claimed she isn’t much a diva, but then in the trailer, we see her in a convertible, where she looks stunning, just like a diva.
Ali Wong: Don Wong release date and trailer
The third special of Ali Wong, titled Ali Wong: Don Wong, will launch on February 14th, 2022 on Netflix. We will again get a glimpse of Ali, who is offering her knowledge about relationships with the audience.
So, sit back and enjoy a funny Valentine’s Day.
The trailer opens up into Ali Wong’s vanity, as she is getting ready for her show. She is again wearing a red dress with leopard prints, saying, “It was so difficult to figure out what to wear for this special because I’m not pregnant.” She explains to the camera that she is wearing a secondhand Tom Ford dress with her signature look while sharing how male comedians go on stage with no makeup on.
What is Ali Wong: Don Wong is about?
Netflix makes it clear that its audience must get a reality check on this Valentine’s Day. Just like her other shows, she will aggressively discuss her wildest fantasies, challenges faced by a monogamous couple, and how she really feels about single people. Subscribers can expect to hear her unique thoughts and perspective on relationships.
