The experience that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba gives only comes along once in a century. The thrill, the score the animation all are top-notch. Back in 2019, when it first started streaming on Netflix, it became a sensation gaining immense popularity and love overnight. So now that its new season is ending with the final episode airing tonight, fans are starting to get hungry for more (read: Demon Slayer season 3).
<h2>Demon Slayer plot</h2>
<a href="https://netflixjunkie.com/tag/demon-slayer/">Demon Slayer</a> is about a young boy Tanjiro, whose family is massacred by a demonand his younger sister Nezuko is the only survivor. Nezuko doesn&#8217;t die; instead, she turns into a demon who can control her thirst for human flesh. Nezuko compensates for the human blood by resting and sleeping. The show follows Tanjiro as he carries his sister on his back in a wooden box and fights demons to find a cure for his beloved sister.
The show currently has two seasons, with season two concluding tonight, and a movie Demon Slayer: Mugen Train premiered between the two seasons. The movie also was highly successful, with it being the highest-grossing film in Japan.

Aside from being a commercial success, Demon Slayer also has the best visuals and story than any anime till date. It won the Best Film award among others at the Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

<h2>Demon Slayer season 3 or new film</h2>
As of now, Ufotable has not made any announcement regarding a new season or a second film. It is highly likely that regardless of whether we get a new film or not fans will have to wait till 2023 end for a new season. As seen with the first film, it was released in 2020, with a new season releasing in 2021. This means if the second film releases at the end of this year, we&#8217;ll get a new season next year.
We will now have to wait and see what Ufotable has in store for us, but we are excited about whatever they offer. For now, be sure to <a href="https://www.netflix.com/title/81091393" target="_blank" rel="noopener">stream</a> the last episode of Demon Slayer on Netflix.
