Bridgerton Season 2 Release Date Announced – Everything You Need to Know

For Christmas 2021, Netflix provided fans with a welcome surprise in the form of a release date of Season 2 of a beloved Netflix original. ShondaLand’s first web series, Bridgerton, became hugely popular worldwide. On the one-year anniversary of Season 1, Netflix revealed the release date of Bridgerton Season 2.

Bridgerton Season 2 Date Announcement

Fans have been waiting for a long time for Season 2 for a long time. After one or two teasers, at last, the streaming company officially announced the global premiere date of Bridgerton Season 2. Season 2 will hit Netflix on March 25th, 2022.

The cast of Bridgerton, i.e. Jonathan Bailey, Simone Ashley, Adjoa Andoh, Golda Rosheuvel, Claudia Jessie, Charithra Chandran, and Luke Newton made the announcement after the streamer dropped a video on their YouTube channel on December 25th, 2021.

The video’s caption was-“Bridgerton premiered one year ago today—Happy Anniversary, dear readers. To commemorate the occasion, Lady Whistledown has gotten her readers a very special gift: Bridgerton Season 2 shall premiere on March 25th, 2022, only on Netflix.”

The video follows a letter received by the lead cast from Lady Whistledown.

Bridgerton Season 2 Plot

The sequel season of Bridgerton will focus on Lord Anthony Bridgerton, Daphne’s elder brother, and his journey to find a romantic relationship. Anthony tries to find the perfect love match for him to fulfill his unattainable criteria until Kate and her younger sister, Edwina, Sharma, arrive from India. As Kate realizes Anthony’s actual intention for this marriage is not to find a true mate for himself, she does everything she can to prevent the marriage. Eventually, their verbal clash brings Anthony and Kate closer.
