Netflix will premiere the new season of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean in December 2021

In its first trailer, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure‘s new season goes to prison. Netflix just released the trailer for season 5 of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean during a special panel. The company also announced that it will stream the show in December.

The trailer shows us many of the characters in this season’s new series, including JoJos and Ermes Costello. The characters are just a small part of the story, even with their extensive list. David Productions will animated Stone Ocean, the animation studio that has been working on the series since 2012.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean is following the stories of Jolyne Cujoh. And, Jolyne Cujoh was sentenced to 15 years imprisonment in a maximum-security prison for a non-violent crime. Jotaro Kujo, Jolyne’s estranged father and one of the main characters in the Stardust Crusaders series, arrives at the prison to warn her about someone who wants her locked up for easy murder. This murder plot and its mysterious perpetrator are all tied back to DIO the series’ evil antagonist.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean will be available worldwide on Netflix in December 2021. It will then air in Japan starting in January 2022. This is a major departure for Netflix which typically receives anime seasons within six months of airing time. Stone Ocean is the latest addition to Netflix’s expanding anime collection series and movies on the catalog.

In June, Sailor Moon’s newest movie was uploaded to Netflix. The company also revealed a large number of anime series and movies that were in development. The company announced in March that it would launch 40 new anime titles by 2021. These additional titles will allow Netflix to stand out from competitors such as Crunchyroll, an anime streaming service that is officially owned by Sony. A new trailer for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Stone Ocean is released alongside the premiere month announcement.
