Popular streaming platform Netflix is going to add an anime series titled Yasuke before April ends to their library.

Netflix does not stop adding more and more animes to its library. Anime fans sure love this. Therefore, Netflix is looking to acquire and produce more animes to add to its library. This time it’s Yasuke, a Netflix original anime that will tell the story of Black Samurai. Netflix shared Yasuke’s official trailer and the release date. They earlier shared a teaser and announced the cast. Now, there are not many days left until we reach the release of Yasuke.

Netflix‘s new anime is about an old warrior who tries to live a peaceful life after everything he went through. However, this is not possible as he has to protect and transport a special kid. Coming from Africa and having been called Black Samurai, Yasuke is back in the action. We’ll see how he manages to protect the mysterious child from the dark forces.

“In a war-torn feudal Japan filled with mechs and magic, the greatest ronin knew, Yasuke struggles to maintain a peaceful existence after a past life of violence. But when a local village becomes the center of social upheaval between warring daimyo, Yasuke must take up his sword and transport a mysterious child who is the target of dark forces and bloodthirsty warlords.”

Here’s Netflix’s original synopsis of the anime:

“A peaceful boatman once known as the Black Samurai is pulled back into conflict when he takes a little girl with mysterious powers under his wing.”

As they announced in the official trailer and before, Netflix is going to release the anime on April 29th, 2021. There’s nothing to complain about that as we will be able to watch the anime in no time. You can check out Yasuke‘s latest trailer below.
