Netflix shares the teaser trailer for its new mini-series Clickbait
Netflix teased its new mysterious mini-series Clickbait with a short and very much interesting video.
As you all probably know, Netflix’s library is quite varied. Not only does it have some action-packed Netflix Originals, but it also has many different contents. The latest teaser Netflix shared on their YouTube channel shows us a pretty interesting mini-series. Titled Clickbait, Netflix’s new show surely gives off a Black Mirror vibe. That’s because it’s a mystery series that’ll focus on social media’s effect on humans’ behavior.
Right now, we only have the teaser of Clickbait, which does not show us anything crucial. Netflix successfully managed to give us a teaser that’s so hooking yet so mysterious. Nevertheless, we know the gist of Clickbait thanks to the description and the vague teaser.

The series will be about Nick Brewer, a man who’s abducted by people unknown. His family and close friends try to hunt down who got him, but there’s an online twist to the story. Apparently, it seems Brewer is going to die when the video reaches five million viewers. His friends and family should work around the clock to prevent a dramatic loss, as the teaser shows.
“Father. Brother. Husband. Liar? Who is Nick Brewer really?” asks Netflix in the description of the teaser. Here’s the official synopsis:
“When family man Nick Brewer is abducted in a crime with a sinister online twist, those closest to him race to uncover who is behind it and why.”

The teaser starts with some happy footage of Nick Brewer with his family. He’s shown as a father, husband, brother, and a good friend.
A question arises after all those: Is he a liar? We see Brewer hold a paper that reads “I abuse women” followed by one that has “At 5 million views I die” written on it.

After that, we see the debates surrounding Brewer’s fate, whether he’s the victim or the bad guy. His family and the police search for him as the views of the video skyrocket rapidly.
In the end, it seems the video titled “Who is Nick Brewer?” has five million viewers. We’ll see what happens to Brewer when Clickbait is released on August 25th.
