A movie is only as good as the director. The relationship of trust and understanding that the actors and the director shares make the movie. But what if the cast has absolutely no faith in the director and thinks of him as a ragging idiot. Well, that is what the cast of Cliff Beast thinks of their director Darren Eigan in The Bubble by Netflix.
And to introduce us to this over-the-top director Netflix has uploaded a video showing the “genius” of this director.
King of The Bubble on Netflix
The Bubble on Netflix follows a group of actors who are trying to shoot the sixth installment for their highly successful Cliff Beast franchise. But this time they have a new addition not in the cast but in the crew — Director Darren Eigan.
Eigan is given the responsibility to helm the newest of the Cliff Beast film. And to introduce us to this “one of the directors of all time,”. Netflix has posted a hilarious new video on its Twitter account showing how great and hysterical actor Fred Armisen is as the director.
In the video, we get to know the “real” opinion the actors have of their director, with Karen Gillan‘s character Carol Cobb saying that, “he is not leading us anywhere but the depths of hell”
The whole video is just a bizarre and hysterical glimpse of what The Bubble really is.
Is Darren Eigan based on a real director?
In the video, we get to know that Darren was a major indie movie director before landing the multi-million dollar production of Cliff Beast.
And as we know that The Bubble is loosely inspired by the production obstacles faced by Jurassic World Dominion. As a result, it’s possible that Darren is modeled on Colin Trevorrow, the film’s director.
Trevorrow became famous after directing the film Jurassic World, which generated two sequels. Previously, the filmmaker has directed indie films including the sci-fi comedy Safety Not Guaranteed. As a result, Darren’s character has some resemblance to Trevorrow’s.
