Cobra Kai Season 3 release date already confirmed and expected on January 8th, 2020. However, Netflix considers moving this action-drama series release date for another month. We don’t expect this to happen but the third season trailer doesn’t say the same thing.

This series originally aired as a YouTube Original on the Premium section. But after the success of the first two seasons of the show. Also, the series based on the Karate Kid franchise and created by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. This spin-off is the decades after their 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament bout, a middle-aged Daniel LaRusso, and Johnny Lawrence finds themselves martial-arts rivals again.

After Netflix pick-up, the streaming rights season 3 quickly shooting and release in early 2021.

When is the Netflix Release Date of ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 3?

Netflix recently and officially shared ‘Cobra Kai‘ Season 3 will release on January 8th, 2021. But this can’t happen according to the first trailer of Cobra Kai’s third season trailer. Also, last, the last frame of the trailer points to “Coming January”. However, we can watch the series before Christmas on December 28th, 2020.

In addition to that, due to the ongoing pandemic, season 4 also postponed for next year.

Here’s the official description of the show:

“The series set to place 30 years after the events of 1984 All Valley Karate Tournament, where a now-successful Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) struggles to maintain balance in his life without the guidance of Mr. Miyagi and must face his previous adversary, down-and-out Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka), who seeks redemption by reopening the infamous Cobra Kai karate dojo.”

Season 3 also follows the tensions between the two dojos finally come to a head on the first day of school. The resulting showdown leaves one student fighting for their life.
