Art has and will always remain subjective. That is one of the beauties of it that you cannot have a universal definition for it. However, in the newest season of Stranger Things, fans are criticizing Finn Wolfhard. But again, people have their own reasons for it.

Stranger Things is the kind of show that has never disappointed fans. Be it the great storyline, intriguing characters, or cinematography. The Netflix Original has always been at the top of its game. That’s why when fans feel a particular character in the show isn’t doing that well, they scrutinize every possible reason as to why.
Unfortunately for fans, that character is Mike Wheeler, played by Finn Wolfhard. After the internet-breaking premiere of Stranger Things 4, people started criticizing the dull and flat storyline of Mike Wheeler. Some went ahead and stated Finn’s poor acting was a reason for it.
However, many fans of the actor have since come forward to talk about it. Many feel it’s not Finn’s lack of acting skills but the poor writing that has made Mike a boring character.
People feel ever since Mike and El became an on-screen couple, Mike lost his purpose in the show and that Finn Wolfhard is still a great actor. The debate has become so huge that users on Twitter are now picking sides. The rift seems to be about if Finn is a good actor or if Mike has been written poorly.
Some of the arguments on Twitter are as follows:
somebody needs to hold an eviction notice over finn wolfhard’s head so he can start ACTING again cause millie carrying everything starting to piss me off https://t.co/IAsXzBu0SA
