Quit or Fired? Toxic Behavior Casts a Dark Shadow on Henry Cavill’s Infamous Exit From ‘The Witcher’
Lately, much chatter has been revolving around the famous and most adorable British actor, Henry Cavill. Just a few months ago, the actor came back as Superman. Right after the release of Black Adam, he announced he wouldn’t reprise the role anymore. Before going back to the DC Universe as Superman, the actor left the most iconic show, The Witcher. Now, here is another report saying the actor didn’t quit, he was fired from the show.

While fans are already having a hard time accepting the fact that they will not see the same face as Geralt of Rivia, another shocking news coming their way. Season 3 of The Witcher is the last season that will see Cavill as Geralt. But did the actor really leave the show because of his disputes with the writers? Or is there anything else?

Did Henry Cavill leave the show or was he fired?
Do you remember when the showrunner, Lauren Hissrich, hinted there was more to the departure of Cavill? However, there has been no official announcement about it, but reportedly, it was becoming hard to work with the lead actor of the show. Because of his toxic work behavior, especially, the female crew wasn’t comfortable working with him. Although there wasn’t any sexual misconduct, but his toxic and disrespectful words with them were harsh.

Also, according to the source, the Man of Steel fame even went above Hissrich to make last-minute changes across the board. Eventually, Netflix heads were tired of this behavior by the actor. It cost them delays, money, and HR investigations. The streaming giant heads reached out to Cavill and warned him. However, the actor broke the last warning which led the heads to fire him.

Although there is no official confirmation, nor there is any comment on these claims by any of the parties. But according to the source, this happened at the show that led the fan-favorite, Geralt of Rivia, to lie down his swords forever.
