After The Witcher, Henry Cavill lost Superman as well. Fans were still feeling bad for the actor, when the prequel to The Witcher just landed on Netflix. Before even the release of the series, fans were against it because Cavill had already left the show. Now that the series has finally landed, are they even giving it a watch? Are they seeing the series for what it is?
The Witcher has huge cult followers throughout the world. The way the British actor has justified the larger-than-life character, fans are not ready to let him go. On the 25th of December, The Witcher: Blood Origins landed on the streaming giant. Despite the series taking place in the same universe as The Witcher, fans are not excited, nor are they talking about the series itself. All they want is for Henry Cavill back to the show.

Fans are still mourning Henry Cavill and his Geralt of Rivia
The writers mocked the source material and deviated widely from the original plot, and The Tudors actor didn’t like it at all, which is allegedly the reason for Cavill’s exit. Meanwhile, the showrunner hasn’t revealed the reason for the departure of the Man of Steel actor. But fans have their ways of speculating and connecting the dots. Now that The Witcher: Blood Origins released, they are now not happy to see it. Some of them even don’t want to watch the series as a revolt against the show makers.
If @netflix Didn't fuck up the Witcher, and lose Henry Cavil. I might've been tempted to give 'blood origins' a shot..
But now I couldn't care less.

Others are just sad for their Geralt as they will not see the same face from the fourth season of The Witcher. Fans even say that when you don’t follow the books/games and follow whatever is important for the series, it ruins the franchise.
Ruined the whole franchise. This is what happens when you don’t follow the books/games and follow with whatever not important to the series. That’s why Henry Cavil left. https://t.co/PIkxldXFAL

Fans are insisting on following the original books and source materials to keep the authenticity of the plot. Because they haven’t followed it in the prequel, they didn’t like it.
I don't no it was going so great then they killed it at the end what the hell was that ending lol I won't be watching the nexts one that's for sure.
no wonder why Henry cavil left the witcher.
why can't you just follow the story the way it supposed to be, just saying lol

This one didn’t like the writing nor did he like the characters. All over, he didn’t like the show and remembered the Witcher who had left the show.
Totally unsurprised with how awful this show was. No wonder @HenryCavil left. The writing sucks, the characters suck.

While watching the prequel, this user realized he didn’t like it. Well, he thought, Cavill just saved himself.
@Sicarioo164 Henry cavil saved himself man what am I seeing 😭😭

This user is clearly questioning the purpose of making such shows that are far from the source materials. What is the point of making it?
Because the witcher is literally a nordic monster hunter protecting his adopted child , why should netflix shows always show the same woke and other bullshit we read the books and played the games , the show is taking another path , no wonder henry cavil left

This user is in awe because of what Henry and Anya have done for the show. And he considered The Witcher: Blood Origins as a stain on their efforts.
The Witcher; Blood Origin is a stain on what Henry Cavil and Anya have done for that series. A solid 3/10. It should never have been produced.

Another user favors the books and doesn’t love the show.
This show had great potential, Henry Cavil was a true Top G, but all of that Netflix woke nonsense made the show pure trash. Loved the books, loved the games, hate the show. Listen to the Top G himself, don’t watch the show.

Maybe Cavill saw the writing of the prequel and ran, says this user.
Thinking maybe Henry Cavil wasn't dropped from The Witcher, he saw the writing on Blood Origin and RAN
