The medical drama Baby Fever has arrived on Netflix this month with six episodes in it. The series is presented by Apple Tree Productions and directed by filmmaker and writer Dorthe Riis Lauridsen. Josephine Park has embodied the central character of fertility doctor Nana and, Shadow and Bones star Simon Sears is depicted as Mathias’s ex-boyfriend of Nana. Other cast members include Olivia Joof Lewerissa as Simone, Jesper Ole Feit Andersen as Anton, Charlotte Munck as Helle, and Mikael Birkkjær as Niels-Anders.

A late 30s fertility doctor Nana Jessen has a void in her life being single. She is on the verge of remaining childless forever when she finds out that she has only left 3. And she must find a solution. While drinking heavily one night she stumbles on a sample and inseminates herself with her ex-boyfriend’s sperm. The series is an empathetic and amusing representation of Nana’s life, where she has to deal with her accidental action. However, her longing for love and a happy family will bring a new horizon to her bumpy life.

Decider has recommended viewers to stream the new season of Baby Fever, as they liked Josephine Park’s charismatic performance as she has explicitly shown the sides of a woman looking for a fulfilled life.

Moreover, Ready Steady Cut has expressed its likeness to the show in that it has varied comic moments and “it’s precise and wholesome to watch”. They stated that the drama is a brave description of a woman’s struggle opening an emotional account of the character.
