Your Favorite Thanksgiving Episodes of Popular Shows on Netflix

Lately, it feels like there is a scarcity of a good Thanksgiving episode; while the content for Christmas is clearly abundant, if not overflowing. There has hardly been a decent episode from any TV show that is built around the holiday of Thanksgiving. But you should never be sad, and especially not on this holiday. As you prepare the delicious Thanksgiving dinner, Netflix will be there to serve some of your favorite Thanksgiving episodes.

All you have to do is sit down with your family, serve the turkey and mashed potatoes, and enjoy. Here we have for you some of the most memorable and loved episodes from the shows available on Netflix. Enjoy!

“A Fuller Thanksgiving,” Fuller House

The sixth episode of season 2 of Fuller House, “A Fuller Thanksgiving” really brings back the nostalgia of the 90s. Reminisce the days of your life when everything was simple and sweet, rather than being all chaotic as you sit down to watch the iconic original cast of Fuller House sit together to enjoy a holiday meal.

“The Big Thanks For Forgiving Episode,” Half & Half

Sitcoms have always been the best at Thanksgiving episodes; the coming together of the family, the drama, the love, and the realizations, everything can be beautifully put together in an episode. One such episode is “The Big Thanks For Forgiving Episode” (Season 1 Episode 10) from Half & Half. When two half-sisters Mona and Dee Dee, who never lived together, meet at their father’s house to celebrate the holiday, nothing but drama awaits them.

Everyone from their family, including their mothers and their paternal grandmother, is present there. This episode is a joy ride, as there are realizations that bring the family closer to each other; as we do with our families.

“Thanksgiving,” Master of None

What if you can watch something beautiful but so powerful that you will tear up with happiness? One such episode is Master of None‘s Thanksgiving (Season 2, Episode 9). We see the annual Thanksgiving family dinner, which has been going on for years, all bundled together into one. One of the most beautiful scenes of the show, when Lena Waithe’s character comes out as a lesbian to her best friend played by Aziz Ansari.

There is also a scene when she comes out of the closet in front of her mother, and it is hands-down one of the most emotional scenes you ever see on TV. Definitely one of the most unforgettable Thanksgiving episodes on Netflix.

Every episode of The Great British Baking Show: Holidays

Nothing screams holidays like a beautiful dessert, and The Great British Baking Show: Holidays has a plethora of those. Watch the masters of baking work their magic as you sit with your friends and family along with plates of your tasty holiday meals. These holiday-themed meals, treats, and desserts are sure to transport you back to the times when you were a kid and munched on all those delicious sweets.

“Thanksgiving,” Moesha

The tenth episode of season 5, “Thanksgiving” is surely one of the best of Moesha. Dee, who is usually in charge of the Thanksgiving meal, falls sick and cannot cook this year. This leaves Hakim’s mother and Moesha herself as the people to prepare the meal; the duo bugs Niecy throughout the day as they make her run to the store countless times in order to purchase more food.

Dorian and Sandy finally have an honest conversation about their relationship. Meanwhile, every single character finds one way or another to show their gratitude and they all enjoy a proper Thanksgiving meal together.
