This year’s Oscars was not the usual boring monotonous Academy Award Show that we were used to. Each one of us is well aware of what made it a memorable evening, at least humorously. Now after the Oscars, Emmy Awards Shows were held the day before yesterday, there were a few warnings raised amongst the audience. The showrunners and producers had something to chip in to prevent history from repeating itself. Let us tell you what it was all about.

Emmy producer circulates notice to abstain from recreating the Will Smith slapping incident

The producer of the 74th Emmy Awards Show followed a zero-tolerance policy on the 12th of September. Reports say, it was just his humor cracking the audience up but this went a bit too serious to come up in news channels and media publications. “You’ll get your ass severely beaten,” said he before the show began.

They also circulated a notice amongst the audience to keep speeches to 45 seconds only. In addition to that, the bar at the back was just a prop and had no means to harm or humiliate anyone during the show.

All of this makes sense because there was huge chaos and ballyhoo around the incident that took place in the prestigious award ceremony. Although it is somehow understandable on Will’s part, it still does not justify him striking someone across the face. The comedian’s subjectively sensitive joke about his wife provoked Smith which he could not stand.

Not to forget, how elegantly Chris took that slap and did not fall out of character only to ensure, “the show must go on”. There was an even worse exchange of slurs and chaos following the slapping incident. Nevertheless, the star received his award within a few moments and broke down about his actions.
