Guess we all can get off our prayer mats now: The Enola Holmes 2 trailer just dropped at the Netflix TUDUM event. Fans of the Millie Bobby Brown starrer mystery period flick had their eyes glued to this event for any new revelation about the second installment. And the Netflix TUDUM event did not let them down. The first trailer of Enola Holmes 2 was unveiled, and it has managed to shatter the already high expectations of fans.

With brilliant direction by Harry Bradbeer and a fantastic screenplay by Jack Thorne, the first Enola Holmes movie from 2020 was an absolute joy at every second of its run time. The cherry on top were the brilliant performances put forth by Millie Bobby Brown, Sam Claflin, Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter, and the handsome Louis Patridge. So what exactly does Enola Holmes 2 have that guarantees it is going to be as brilliant as the first movie?

Enola Holmes 2 doubles the mystery, thrill, and fun

If you forgot what a delight it was to watch the determined Enola Holmes stand her ground despite the darkness both in terms of female rights and danger in the 19th century, the 2-minute-long Enola Holmes 2 trailer is a great refresher.

While the first movie focused mainly on the youngest Holmes finding her mother and saving the city on the side, she has a new goal this time. Determined to prove that she is just as capable as a fellow detective living on 221B Street that has the same name as her, Enola will go to any length to solve her first case.

While on one hand, Enola is burning with enthusiasm and motivation, on the other side, the great Sherlock Holmes seems to be in a bit of an iffy regarding his most recent case.  As expected, Enola Holmes and Sherlock Holmes will be teaming up to solve a case. But given how both of them have a raised-nose personalities, things do not go very smoothly. Millie’s Enola is all set to take on Henry Cavill’s Sherlock in a hand-to-hand, only to exclaim in “You” upon seeing her brother.

The handsome duke from the previous movie will also be in Enola Homes 2, to the lady detective’s annoyance. Humor, mystery, adventure, and Enola Holmes being Enola Holmes will definitely have you sat in front of your screens on the 4th of November when it premieres.
