Netflix’s blockbuster deals come with their blockbuster delays. Although the American streamer has had some flag post franchises and series that have kept the fans in a chokehold, it has evidently struggled to stay at it. Be it The Witcher series trying to cope with its recasting, or its fan-favorite series Stranger Things trying to revive from the Writers’ strike from last year, they go through it all. Even other shows like Wednesday, One Piece, Virgin River, and many more are coping with the consequences of the strike.

Currently, with major shows already pushed back to 2025, another beloved Korean thriller series has always been put off until next year.

As reported by Pop Base on its official X handle, the production of the widely acclaimed post-apocalyptic Zombie K-drama series, All of Us Are Dead, has been held up until 2025. The reason stated for the cumbersome delay reads as, “for enhanced production quality.” The series was already running behind not because of the industrial disruptions caused by to Writers' strike but for the busy schedule of the cast and crew.

The return of the students from Hyosan High School will not be happening until next year or even later. The delay has not pushed back its release for the next year, but the entire production process in itself. Fans of the epic thriller series thus face another indefinite wait, leaving the timeline for the show's return to anyone's guess.

Announced back in January, the team was in agreement for a release window of 2024. The filming was supposed to wrap up by June 2024, paving the way for a potential early 2025 return. If the post-production schedule mirrored Season 1, fans could see the show's revival as soon as Q1 2025, said earlier reports. However, it seems like a distant cry at this point.

The Netflix series All of Us Are Dead first premiered on January 28, 2022, and has since captivated audiences worldwide. With a second season overdue, the total number of seasons remains undisclosed. The delay indeed acts as a bitter shock, owing to the postposing of Stranger Things as hinted by show star, Maya Hawke.
