While there are plenty of reasons why people love these characters one of the major reasons includes their appealing appearances. You might have come across influencers and makeup artists on the internet impersonating these iconic characters. And you wouldn’t believe that even the famous American wrestler Zelina Vega has joined the fandom publicly showing her love for Demon Slayers at an event.

According to CBR, the New York-based wrestler recently paid homage to the Demon Slayer villain named Daki. Attending the prestigious WWE Hall of Fame ceremony Zelina Vega rocked an anime-inspired costume. The 32-year-old appeared wearing a black laced corset and flared skirt wrapped around a pink bow. This belt signified the powerful weapon that the character use to fight against her contenders.

Moreover, in her Instagram post the Queen’s Crown champion showed her nails which featured the darker side of the antagonist. For the unversed Daki was the primary antagonist in the Entertainment District Arc of Demon Slayer, which released in 2021. Daki was an upper rank demon with powers that saw her using the folds of her dress to attack her opponents.

The WWE superstar sported this look just the day before she entered WrestleMania 39. Well, Vega absolutely killed the look but this is certainly not the first time she embodied a pop culture character.

Zelina Vega has a soft corner for anime cosplays 

If we look back at the history of this professional wrestler representing anime characters through styles, one might find many. The American star has embodied characters like Madara, Itachi Uchiha, and Rock Lee. While Zelina has not confined her style to this genre only and has done cosplay from gaming like Jade from Mortal Kombat and Vega from Street Fighter.

Meanwhile, the anime lover recently hosted the global event of the Crunchyroll Anime Awards and took charge as the commentator of Street Fighter 6. The pictures shared from the event included Zelina Vega, Andrade Cien Almas, Trish Stratus, and her husband Malakai Black.
