It was the August of 2019 when we saw Kai trying to contemplate the words “you are the Wu Assassin”. The 10 episode miniseries was certainly a great action thriller that was the perfect blend of mythology, supernatural powers, and realism. Through the course of the series, we saw Kai embrace his power and fight the horrors that wish to wreak havoc upon this world. But what exactly happens after the finale? Wu Assassins: Fistful of Vengeance is here to answer that.

What is this standalone film about?

In Wu Assassins, we saw Iko Uwais as Kai Jin, a San Francisco chef who learns that he is ‘The Chosen One’. Given to him are the powers of a thousand monks who sacrificed their lives in order to empower a chosen one. Jin, albeit reluctantly, ends up fighting the five Wu Warlords, who are also in San Francisco.
